WVU Campus Rec to offer free holiday membership

'Tis the season to be healthy!

The WVU Campus Recreation "Healthy Holidays" program returns this December to offer WVU faculty/staff and their families with free access during the university's winter break.

“We’re excited to be offering the Healthy Holidays program again this year as part of our continued commitment to promoting a healthy WVU community,” said Gabriela Jasek, coordinator for Member & Guest Experience. “Our hope is that the program makes it easier to prioritize health and wellness during the busy holiday season.”

The special promo runs from December 17th, 2022, through January 7th, 2023, and includes access to all WVU Campus Recreation facilities. Membership will automatically activate on Dec. 17 and deactivate at the end of day on Jan. 7.

Eligible members can enroll for Healthy Holidays starting Thursday, Dec. 1, at either the Student Recreation Center or the Downtown Fitness Center at Reynolds Hall.

Eligible members include WVU Faculty/Staff and University Affiliate Groups (i.e., WVU Ruby Hospital, WVU Medical Corporation, WVU Foundation, WV Geological Survey, WVU Research Corporation, WVU Faculty/Staff Retirees, WVNET).

Please note that Campus Recreation facilities will operate on reduced break hours with various closures.
