Parking

With an ever-expanding Evansdale Campus and growth of University resources, access to parking has been an ongoing focus for University planners. Several short-term parking lots have been added, including “Short Term 4” adjacent to the Recreation Center. Visit WVU's Transportation & Parking site for up-to-date information.

Some of the most pertinent facts are:

  • Parking fees will be in effect Monday-Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
  • The rate per hour is the same as other surface lots: $1.25/hr
  • Parking will remain free for the time-being at the Coliseum
  • The ParkMobile app and Mountain Line app are two resources that help identify open spaces and alternate transportation
