Designed to replicate the unique beauty of West Virginia's outdoors, the Student Recreation Center Climbing Wall is 50 feet tall and features more than 2,000 interchangeable handholds with more than 3,500 square feet of climbing surface.

With an ever-expanding Evansdale Campus and growth of University resources, access to parking has been an ongoing focus for University planners. Climbers of all skill levels can challenge themselves, hone their skills, and keep in shape at the WVU Climbing Wall. Any Recreation Center patron can use the climbing wall.
The wall features include crack climbs, overhangs, dihedrals and arêtes which allow for a wide range of climbs, from beginner to advanced.
