Do you have a child interested in climbing? Campus Recreation's Kids Climbing Club is a great way for children to learn about rock climbing.
Climbing is a fun, exciting and challenging way to stay fit and enjoy the vertical world. Our knowledgeable, experienced and enthusiastic instructors and counselors will teach a variety of skills such as technique, gear usage, safety, route climbing, bouldering and strength/endurance. They will also learn life skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, trust, concentration and communication.
The Kids Climbing Club program is for climbers ages 5 – 12 years and will offer sessions this Fall and Spring:
- Session 1 is for children 5 – 8 years of age & will take place from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
- Session 2 is for children 9 – 12 years of age & will take place from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Registration
Campus Rec Member Priority registration will open at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 14th and non-member registration will open at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, December 18th.
Please note to successfully register your dependents, registration must be done by the Head of Household account on file (applies to registration done online via WVUGo).
