Campus Recreation is working hard to ensure that safety precautions are being implemented
everywhere possible to keep our students, faculty and staff safe.
While the Rec Center reopening is pending, Intramural Sports programming and events
will be taking place this semester, but most of the events/programming will be
happening outside of the recreation center. Please pay attention to the calendar
for specific events, registration dates and follow our social media accounts for
updates!
WVU’s Intramural Sports Program offers a comprehensive and diverse variety of competitive sports in season league and tournament formats. All students, faculty, staff, as well as spouses, are encouraged to compete in any of the activities offered.
Through participation in intramural leagues and tournaments, you can keep physically fit, develop leadership skills and sportsmanship, and learn how to function as a member of a team. Intramural sports are a great way to encourage team building within your Greek organization, dorm floor, office staff or just your friend group.
