Fitness Assessment
Comprehensive Fitness Assessment
Schedule a free Fitness Assessment with one of our Certified Personal Trainers! Whether you are just starting your fitness journey or are a gym warrior, knowing your baseline is a great way to keep track of your progress and set goals for yourself.A comprehensive fitness assessment is approximately 60 minutes in duration and includes resting heart rate and blood pressure, body fat composition, weight, girth measurements in addition to cardio, strength, and flexibility testing. You and the trainer will then discuss your health and fitness goals and basic nutritional information.
To schedule a Fitness Assessment, either come into the SRC at the front desk and complete basic medical forms, or click here to complete the paperwork and bring them with you to the Rec Center. Front desk staff will verify all required paperwork is included and if additional forms, including a consultation with a medical doctor, are needed. Once all necessary paperwork is complete, a Personal Trainer will be in contact with you to schedule your assessment!
Fitness assessments are provided for any current WVU student or SRC member only.
