Heather LaNoue

Heather joined the WVU Campus Recreation team in July of 2019 as the Business Manager. She received her Bachelor of Arts and Masters in Higher Educational Leadership from West Virginia University. Heather has been with the university for a total of 14 years.

Heather started in student affairs with Residential Education and has held several positions around the university including the Student Loan Officer in Student Accounts and, most recently, Budget Analyst with Facilities Management. Heather’s outgoing personality and desire for a challenge and change has landed her in campus recreation.

Heather has always been an outgoing person and Student Life has always been a great fit. She believes the ability to watch and be a part of the transformation of timid freshman to confident young professionals has always been one of the greatest accomplishments a person can ever witness. That is what drew Heather to student life and campus recreation.

Some things you wouldn’t expect about Heather:

  • She loves the great outdoors, especially 4X4 sport UTV’s
  • Has been snorkeling in the East China Sea while visiting family on the Kadena AFB in Okinawa Japan
  • Passionate about Rescue Horses and served as a Grant Writer for Save-A-Horse Stable and Sanctuary in Sycamore, PA
