Want to end the Fall semester with a friendly fun tournament? Come on out to the Student Recreation Center on Thursday, December 12th at 6:30 p.m. to participate in a knockout tournament. This event is set up for students to take a break from all of the stress that comes with studying for finals. The tournament is also free for students, with registrations beginning on October 1st on the WVUGo app. Registrations will not be ending until the day of the event, and you will also be allowed to register on the site at the Rec. So, feel free to come out and get rid of that stress!

According to a survey conducted by MentalHelp in 2016, thirty-one percent of students claim their number one source of stress comes during finals. Meaning almost a third of students stress out the most during finals out of the whole semester. Another study shows that your brain consumes up to twenty percent of your energy; your brain requires oxygen and fuel to do its job. No matter what kind of exercise you like, moving around is sure to get your blood pumping and brain working harder.

Coming to the Campus Recreation Center’s intramural knockout tournament will be beneficial to you, and will improve your mental and physical health, but also be an exciting opportunity to have fun with friends before the holiday break.

Meet you on the court!
