All-Staff

As the Marketing and Communications Team for Adventure WV and Campus Recreation, we work to keep everyone up to date on anything healthy lifestyles and important current events. Our team consists of many people who create content and distribute it to the mass population of Mountaineers and the West Virginia community. We want everyone to learn new skills, make strong connections with each other and have fun while working.

Team Roles and Expectations

Everyone on the team is expected to adhere to these expectations as well as their specific team roles.

  • Respond to clients timely with materials/updates requested
  • Complete your assigments by the due date
  • You should be active on Basecamp when you are clocked in unless other work is justified
  • Keep hours accurate on the Google Calendar
  • Review your hours by weeks end and notify Hannah reguarding any discrepancies
  • Attend all staff and team meetings unless communicated in advance with Brittany Murray or Hannah Wilkinson

Google Drive

Accessing Google Drive:

  1. You must first be granted access to our WVUGo Shared Google Drive
  2. Go to: https://www.google.com/intl/en_in/drive/ and login
  3. Make sure your account is on your WVU Mix account
  4. Go to where it says "Shared Drives"

Global Protect

Primarily we want everyone to use the web clock, but we understand that there are times when you are unable to clock in or out. If you are experiencing problems with Global Protect please reach out to Hannah Wilkinson.

Clocking In and Out:

  • Make sure your Global Protect is on
  • Visit portal: portal.wvu.edu
  • Click on the three bars icon next to "Menu"
  • Choose employee
  • Select "Web Clock"

Checking Your Hours:
  • Visit portal: portal.wvu.edu

Primarily, we want everyone to use the WVU Portal to clock in, but if you are not able to clock in or out (you are completing field work, you are experiencing issues with Global Protect, etc.) please fill out a staff time log form.

ADOBE

Our team utilizes Adobe Suite (primarily Illustrator, PhotoShop, Premier Pro and Dreamweaver). Adobe is free for anyone on our team so make sure to use that to your advantage!

Basecamp is our task manager for team management. This is where we post important documents such as meeting notes, get tasks from people and communicate with others.

CleanSlate is our content management system for the websites that we use to publish articles, make updates, etc. This program is primarily used by the Website Content Management Team.

Our team utilizes Google Calendar in order to keep track of everyone's hours. Your hours should be accurate at all times.

Hootsuite is where we schedule our posts for Facebook, Instagram and Twitter for both Adventure WV and Campus Recreation. This program is primarily used by the Social Media Team.

Qualtrics is the program we use to generate surveys/forms. This program is used by the Website Management Team. This is primarily used by the Web Management Team to create surveys to display on websites.
