Whether you’re celebrating a birthday party or hosting a team-building retreat, we can help you customize a package tailored to your needs and interests.

Please note that events must be scheduled with a MINIMUM 2 week advance notice of the proposed event date.

Parties

The WVU Student Recreation Center is the ultimate place to host a fun, safe and memorable party. Whether you’re celebrating a birthday, graduation or another special occasion, we can help you customize a party package tailored to your needs and interests.

Climbing Wall parties include three ropes with additional ropes available at $5/rope.

Note: The Pool and the Climbing Wall have a two-hour time limit, and party guests may not have exclusive use of the facilities. There must be at least one supervising adult for every five children. If guests are under 9 years of age, there is no additional guest fee.

Large Groups and Camps

Finding a great place to take the kids outside of school doesn’t have to be difficult with our facilities. From swimming to bubble soccer, we can help you customize a day full of fun for all ages.

Note: WVU Campus Recreation operations staff will oversee the event. Structured activity is available upon request. Groups with children require 1 chaperone per 5 children. Chaperones are not included in final headcount pricing.

If you’re looking for space to host your company’s next big event or team-building retreat, the Student Rec Center has multiple spaces and a large array of equipment to help make it memorable.

Note: For groups larger than 100, the University Police Department is required to oversee the event at $40/hr.

5k's and Philanthropy Events

In need of space for your next fundraising event? With an outdoor track and fields and an array of indoor spaces such as the basketball and volleyball courts, the Student Recreation Center can accommodate you.

Product and Turf Rental

The Student Recreation Center offers not only space such as our turf fields, but also equipment to help your already planned events. From tables, chairs, sound equipment and event staff to outdoor games such as cornhole and KanJam, let us make your event perfect.

All product rentals from the WVU Student Recreation Center are for a two-hour event unless stated otherwise. Additional hours require additional fees.

Need to spread awareness or promote a club or event? The WVU Student Recreation Center offers tabling space to both students and outside organizations any day of the week.
