Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for the promotion and selling of all aspects of events, upselling add on activates and making alternative suggestions as needed
- Maintaining a working knowledge of the products and services offered by Campus Recreation.
- Responsible for checking in appointments, booking services, and checking out appointments daily
- Response and follow up on generated leads and clients in a timely manner to inform, update, confirm, follow up and other levels of communication via email or phone ensuring that any special requests are communicated and ensured
- Demonstrate flexibility in meeting potential clients for site visits and for planning meetings prior to the event, at the guest’s convenience, which could include weekend and evening appointments
- Constructing contracts, obtaining signatures and issuing invoices
- Make decisions and take action that represent Campus Recreation in a positive way
Qualifications
- Must be an enrolled student of WVU; preferably within a Marketing/Sales, Hospitality Management, Recreation Management or related field
- Must have the following valid certifications
- Must have an up to date CPR/First Aid and AED certification
- Title IX training
- Policy 49/children on campus training
