Ai Chi is a form of relaxation therapy, with movements controlled by the breath, generally below 20 times a minute, and the water both providing resistance and support for the participant. Water's equal pressure wraps around the entire body and dulls uneven sensations across the body, allowing for participants to solely focus on the movement, and its ability to help enter a meditative state.
The class will be taught by Exercise Physiologist Students studying Aquatic Therapy,
trained under Dr. Sherlock, a nationally renowned aquatic instructor.
