Novel Coronavirus - Programming and Facility Impacts

Campus Recreation is working hard to ensure that safety precautions are being implemented everywhere possible to keep our students, faculty and staff safe. While the Rec Center reopening is pending, programming and events for this semester are still being determined. Most of the events/programming will be happening outside of the recreation center. Please pay attention to the calendar for specific events and follow our social media accounts for updates!

Please direct any questions to either  or call us at (304) 293-7529.

*The Student Recreation Center will remain closed until further notice.

Rec Guide Facility Impacts Facility Hours

This program is a parent/child-attended program intended to help young children (6 months through 3 years) develop a comfort level in and around water and prepare them to learn how to swim. This program is not designed to teach children to become accomplished swimmers or survive in the water on their own. The program provides information and techniques for parents to orient their children to the water and to learn how to safely supervise all water activities.

*Program requires parent/adult accompaniment in the water.
