This summer, Campus Recreation welcomed two new professional team members dedicated to helping you find your fit.
Mike Brito joins the Campus Recreation team as a Competitive Sports Coordinator. In this new role, Mike contributes to a team that oversees over 50 club sports, offers more than 15 intramural programs each year and collaborates with various programs across campus to provide new and exciting programs to students. Mike received his Bachelor’s degree from UNC Greensboro and his Graduate degree in Higher Education Administration from Rowan University. During much of his educational career, Mike held positions related to campus recreation and intramural sports and has been an active member of National Intramural-Recreational Sports Association (NIRSA) ever since. In his spare time, Mike enjoys staying active through group exercise classes and going on hikes and hopes to provide students with an outlet to focus on their wellbeing, meet new people and help them find their fit.
Brittany Brandt joins the Campus Recreation team as a Fitness & Wellbeing Coordinator. In her new role, she oversees the group fitness program, personal training program and special event programs related to health and wellbeing. Brittany received her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from Georgia Southwestern State University and followed with a Master of Science degree in Sports Medicine from the University of Colorado - Colorado Springs. She has held health and wellbeing positions at the University of Notre Dame and Nicholls State University. In her spare time, Brittany stays active through HITT, yoga and strength training exercises. Brittany is no stranger to finding her fit and she hopes to help students find theirs through collaboration with more organizations across campus.
